We Have Given Our Web Sites an eXtreme Makeover!
Visit our three retail sites, www.outdoorgb.com, www.sailgb.com and www.watchesgb.com, and you will see we have made them more attractive and even easier to use than ever!
There are new home pages to greet you and lots of links and easy-to-read menus to guide you to the furthest reaches of our sites - and we still have the Search box to help you get exactly where you want to go.
And of course all three sites are changing every day as we add still more new and improved products for you to browse through - without getting sore feet.
SailGB Sponsors Andrew Wood's Solo 'Mini Transat' Race
sailgb has supported Andrew Wood's Mini Transat Campaign with a Jetboil Camping Stove and a supply of High Five Energy Bars for his Solo Race across the Atlantic in his 6.5 metre 'Classes Mini' racing yacht.
Andrew aspired to be the first British sailor ever to cross the finish line in first place since the race started in the late 1970's a feat even beyond Ellen Macarthur! Conditions are uncomfortable and dangerous, and sleep is almost non-existent. Combine this with the need to constantly drive the boat on night and day and you have the recipe for a very competitive challenge indeed. Fingers crossed, Andrew!
eXtremegb Supports Ride Earth
eXtremegb is the official equipment sponsor for Ride Earth and their quest to circumnavigate the world by cycle - OFF ROAD!
Andy Welch & Tom Allen of Ride Earth embarked on their challenge in June 2007 aiming to raise money for:
- Wilderness Foundation - Preserving and promoting the value of the world’s last remaining wild areas.
- Wheels For Life - a non-profit organisation that provides bikes for people in Third World countries in need of transportation to get to work or to school, including health care workers. This charity was founded by extreme biking legend and former Mountain Bike World Champion Hans Rey.
